There are many events over the past year that should cause us to pause and question whether or not our rights covered under the First Amendment are under attack.

Disappointing behavior...

I sat and watched much of the coverage of the events of last Wednesday. I am always disappointed when a peaceful protest turns into a riotous behavior. I will always defend our First Amendment rights.

We turn the calendar on another year. The past year has challenged the fabric of families. People are looking for hope everywhere. There is hope in the New Year. We have the hope that 2021 will be a better year than the last. We may have things we would like to change in our life.

On Monday Jolene Maggert and girls of Fergus Falls who had been visiting Merv and Phyllis Holter returned home. Thursday Saralee Hoselton took the PCMT van to Grafton where she visited Jan Maurstad at the Unity Medical Center Hospital.
