Drought is often thought of as a lack of moisture. The farmers know it well. Or a drought can be a prolonged shortage of something else. It can happen to the soul of man. Man feels lacking in his soul apart from God. Men will strive to fill the void of not knowing God.

When it comes to small businesses it is hard to compete on a level playing field. This is very true when it comes to accepting credit cards and especially all the talk of a manditory minimum wage of $15 per hour. It is easy to say that both of these are just the cost of doing business.

I did not win a thing this past weekend during RIVERFEST, but I know I was one of the biggest winners of the weekend. My prize had no monetary value, but I know in my heart it was better prize than I could have won in either one of the raffles which ended over the weekend.
