Legislative Update

Summer has come and gone and though it was a hot and utterly dry season, I am grateful for the green after recent rains. Too late for some crops to flourish and even more so for grass to be hayed for livestock, but hoping harvest is going well for all.

School has started once again which means the return of high school sports. It also means that Lyle has returned to his job as a paraprofessional at Drayton Public School. I have really enjoyed having Lyle’s help through the summer months.

So, Monday morning went just like the stereotypical TV movie Monday. I woke up to the alarm at 5:15 and instantly realized I should have gotten up at least fifteen minutes earlier. I hopped out of bed and had another instant revelation, I should have gone to bed earlier.
