As I was telling you last week, my first deer hunting adventure with a gun came in the fall of 1986 when I was 25 years old and attending college in Ely, Minnesota. All of the guys I was hunting with were younger than me, around 19 and 20. I had never owned a rifle before, only a shotgun.
