Late last week I was told that someone that I care very much for was on hospice. I had a choice to make do I go and see this person one last time, or do I keep all the commitments that were in my personal calendar. Knowing that I lived close enough to make it possible, but far enough that I would have to bow out of some of my commitments I had to do some serious thinking.
