    This past Sunday a memory popped up on my Facebook account. It was a picture I took seven years ago while on the shore of Lake Superior near Split Rock Lighthouse Northeast of Duluth.

    For a moment I wondered why I had taken the picture, then it dawned on me. I happened to be on the shore that day on the 42nd anniversary of the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald which happened back on November 10, 1975.
