It was a sparse year underneath the Christmas tree, but it didn’t seem to matter. Two months prior your family had moved into the home on Lincoln Avenue. For the boys it meant going from sharing one cold bedroom on the farm to sharing two warm bedrooms in the new basement. The basement became a boy’s domain where you would spend a lot of your time during the winter.
