Gov. Burgum, Senator Hoeven praise decision
North Dakota Senator John Hoeven announced on Thursday, Nov. 16 that a bus manufacturing plant in Pembina will remain open.
The news comes a year and a half after Canadian-based NFI Group said it would shutter the Motor Coach Industries (MCI) factory.
Manitoba-based NFI Group announced in May its plans to close the Pembina assembly plant on or before June 2025 as part of a larger cost-cutting plan.
