On Sept. 10, members from the Rendezvous Region Tourism Council (RRTC) met alongside area business owners for its third annual awards banquet. This year, the annual rendezvous awards were presented at The McIntyre Bar and Grill located in Hoople, N.D. The McIntyre opened in June of this year.

Alleged chop shop operator changes plea

A Park River man accused of operating a chop shop submitted a change of plea last Thursday.Christian David Phil Lundquist, 26, has been charged with 15 offenses, dating from March 2021 to March 2024. Eleven of the charges are Class-C felonies of Theft-Deception between $1-10,000.
