Prevention encouraged due to uptick in N.D. infl uenza activity

North Dakota Health and Human Services (HHS) encourages residents to take precautions as influenza activity remains high with newly reported influenza-associated hospitalizations and deaths.This season, 5,166 influenza cases have been reported to HHS.

Re-Lovables makes new out of old

For one local woman, a unique craft idea was inspired by a fluke and from there, it caught on and has been a lucrative side business ever since. Combining her creative attributes with her sewing abilities, Jamie Mattice came up with a perfect combination with her Re-Lovables sweatshirts.

Pride of Dakota releases 40th Anniversary Showcase attendance numbers

By Valley News and Views Staff During the 2025 showcase season, Pride of Dakota vendors experienced their second-highest attendance on record with 47,272 attendees. Showcases were held in Fargo, Grand Forks, Bismarck, Minot and Dickinson. Fargo and Dickinson set attendance records.

Pursuit on I-29 ends in suspect’s death
