North Dakota Barley Show returns to Osnabrock March 26

OSNABROCK, N.D. - The 2026 Barley Show will take place Thursday, March 26 at the Osnabrock Barley Hall in Osnabrock, bringing together producers, industry representatives, and community members for a full day of exhibits, education and fellowship. This will be the 81st annual event.

According to the National Children’s Center for Rural and Agricultural Safety and Health, young workers were 7.8 times more likely to be fatally injured in agriculture when compared to all other industries combined in 2016. Tractors and all-terrain vehicles are the leading sources of fatal events.

Arrest warrant issued in Pembina County meth delivery case

By Valley News and Views Staff An arrest warrant has been issued for a Langdon man accused of delivering methamphetamine in Pembina County. According to court documents, Ryan Blair Magnus, 53, has been charged with the Class B felony of delivery of a controlled substance.
