Titan boys topple Cavalier Tornadoes

The Drayton-Valley-Edinburg Boys’ Basketball team traveled to Cavalier on Monday, Jan. 26, for a rare day game against the Tornadoes.The Titans were looking to reverse the outcome from the first meeting between the two teams, when Cavalier defeated D-V-E, 59-53 in overtime in Crystal on Jan. 9.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) hosted a public input meeting on Thursday, Jan. 22, for a drainage project on Interstate 29 near Drayton.The project consists of replacing four existing drainage crossings located at reference points 200.772 195.012, 194.507, and 193.468.

Three Drayton students advance to county spelling bee

On Wednesday, Jan. 28, the top spellers from grades six through eight competed at the school spelling bee at Drayton Public School to earn their spot at the Pembina County Spelling Bee, which will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 11, at the Pembina County Courthouse in Cavalier.
