The state of North Dakota and wildlife managers nationwide take chronic wasting disease very seriously. The more education, information, awareness and understanding the better. It’s all hands-on deck.Last fall, my part was looking for deer heads from roadkill to sample for CWD.

Dakota gardener: How did your garden grow?

How did your garden season go? This summer I participated in three different NDSU Home Garden Variety Trials, and planted nine tomato plants, potatoes, beans, melons, cucumber, different squashes and much more.

The Drayton Bombers had another great season of football. They played well, but it took practice of skills, strength training, development for endurance, and leadership with a vision towards the end goal. When the whole team works to achieve the same goal there is unity.

Rose Wosick Everson marked her extraordinary milestone 100th birthday in the company of 160 cherished family members, extended relatives, and friends. The joyous occasion took place on Sunday, March 10, in the enchanting setting of the Sunland Village Auditorium in Mesa, Arizona.
