|People wait for the big end of season football game known as the Superbowl game. I am not particularly one of those people. I have watched the game over the years. Sometimes I am more invested in the game than other years.I used to watch the game for the commercials and the half time show.

A few (or more) years ago, Popeye the Sailor Man was an inspirational cartoon character. When needed, the superhero would quickly swallow some spinach and become strong, able to pack a punch that would defeat any evil villain.

Submitted by Kari Helgoe, Pembina County extension North Dakota youth will have a chance to demonstrate their creativity and knowledge of being safe in the sun all year long in the “sun safety” poster contest. Most people know someone who has or has had skin cancer.
