Character is developed. It can be for better or for worse dependent on our choices. Daniel’s character stands alone among all of the people in the Bible with the exception of Jesus. Daniel was a man of prayer, devoted wholly to God, and walked righteously. He didn’t do this under his own power.

When we stood up this week in support of legislation to require phonefree schools in North Dakota, we approached it as giving something back to students: the freedom to learn and grow with far less distraction and stress.

4-H Project Expo winners named

By Kari Helcroe, Pembina County Extension agent The 2025 Pembina County 4-H Project Expo was held Friday, March 14 at the Cavalier Public School. There were 39 projects on display, representing the three divisions – Cloverbuds – 12; Junior – 25; and Senior - 2.
