Plans for pennies

The US Treasury has announced its plans to wind down the production of pennies with the final new pennies being put into circulation in early 2026.The main reason behind this is primarily due to cost. Reportedly, for every 1 cent printed, it costs the Treasury over 3-and-a-half cents.

An Idaho company released a glowin- the-dark petunia called Firefly Petunia. By day, the plant looks like an ordinary white-flowered bedding plant. After the sun goes down, the plant reveals its superpower by emitting a faint green glow.
