Generous donation provides defibrillators to community
Help in a heartbeat
Drayton Pool lifeguards (l to r) Gracie Johnson, Reese Fering, Jonathan Knudson, and Mason Pollestad stand with one of the defibrillators placed at the pool. It’s one of several being placed strategically around Drayton and is a life saving tool for prehospital treatment for cardiac arrest. Photo by Christine Jensen.
There are moments when we are confronted with life and death situations, a bit of preparation can make a huge difference in those situations. Thanks to a generous donation from Drayton Medical Services Inc., ZOLL Automated External Defibrillators (AED) have been strategically placed in various locations around the city with several additional locations to come.
