Tired Titans toppled by Class A Burros

Playing their fourth game in five days, the Drayton-Valley-Edinburg Titans didn’t have much left in the tank when they traveled to Buxton to take on Hillsboro-Central Valley on Friday, Jan. 9. The result was a 74-23 loss to the Burros, who play one class up in Class A, Region 2.

Titan girls bounce back against tornadoes

After losing two tough games at the Jamboree at United Tribes Technical College in Bismarck, the Drayton-Valley-Edinburg Titans girls’ basketball team bounced back with a 51-41 win against District 3 foe Cavalier Monday night in Cavalier.

Hoyles sisters bring home silver and bronze at Rumble on the Red

Drayton Senior Alyssa Hoyles and her sister, sophomore Violet Hoyles, took second and third place, respectively, in their weight classes at the Rumble on the Red wrestling tournament held Jan. 2-3 in Fargo.The tournament featured thousands of wrestlers from North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota.

The Drayton-Valley-Edinburg Titans boys’ basketball team swept their games at a Jamboree held at United Tribes Technical College in Bismarck on Dec. 29th and 30th.D-V-E 60, Center-Stanton 27In the first game of the Jamboree, the Titans led from start to finish with a 60-27 win over Center-Stanton.

In just their second game of the regular season, the Drayton-Valley-Edinburg Titans boys’ basketball had the tough task of hosting state-ranked North Border Eagles, Dec. 16 in Crystal. The Eagles entered the game ranked second in the latest North Dakota Class B boys’ basketball poll.
