Tornadoes topple Titans

The Drayton-Valley-Edinburg (D-V-E) Titans hosted Region 2 foe, Cavalier, Dec. 6 in Edinburg. The Tornadoes got off to a quick start against the home standing Titans and managed to hold the lead throughout the game, on their way to a 63-50 victory.

Titans hold on for win over Polar Bears

The Drayton-Valley-Edinburg (D-V-E) Titans boys’ basketball team started off the holiday break on the right foot with a 55-53 win over Larimore in Drayton on Dec. 20. The Titans led at all the quarter breaks, but had to hold back a fourth quarter surge by Larimore.

Titans open Region 2 Schedule with Grafton

The Drayton-Valley-Edinburg Boys’ Basketball team opened their Region 2 schedule by hosting the Grafton Spoilers on Dec. 16 in Drayton. The Spoilers’ defense kept the Titans at bay and Grafton scored 30 points in the third quarter on the way to a 7734 victory.

Titans open 2022 campaign with loss in Starkweather

The Drayton Valley-Edinburg (D-V-E) Titans Boys’ basketball team got the season started with a road trip to Starkweather Monday Dec. 12 against Region 4 opponent North Star. The Titans found it difficult to contain senior guard Dane Hagler and that translated into a 71-39 loss to the Bearcats.

The Drayton-Valley-Edinburg (D-V-E) Titans struggled offensively in a 6017 loss to the Grafton Lady Spoilers Friday, Dec. 9. The Titans managed only two points in the first, a field goal by sophomore Aleah Pokrzywinski while the Spoilers put in 23.
