Freshman Fedje places in three events
The Drayton-Valley/Edinburg Titans traveled to Bismarck for the three day State Track and Field Meet. The Titans all competed well against the best of the best in North Dakota. The Titans were well represented in multiple events at the meet.

Titans perform well at North East Region Track and Field Meet

The DVE Titan girls finished 5th and the boys 6th in the team standings at the North East Regional Meet in Larimore on Friday, May 19. The Titans added a number of state qualifiers. After a cool and windy start, it turned into one of the nicest days of the weather shortened season.

placed third in the girls 400 meter dash (PR) 1:04.34. Freshman Alyssa Hoyles placed second in the girls pole vault at 8’ 3” and teammate sophomore Easton Larson placed third at 8’ 0”. Junior Ashton Knutson jumped his way to state with a 37’ 5” triple jump, placing third.

Titans attend Red River Valley Conference Outdoor

Last week, the Titans traveled to Mayville to take part in the Red River Valley Conference Outdoor Invitational. It was the nicest day, weather wise, that the teams have experienced so far this season.

Varsity Titans Track teams compete at Larimore

On May 13, Freshman standout, Elizabeth Fedje, qualified for her third event in the State Track Meet with a personal best 1:01:57 in the 400 meter dash. Fedje won the 400 meter dash, the high jump (PR) 5’ 1”, and the 300H :48.48.

Titan Varsity Boys Track and Field win Spoiler Last Chance

The Titan Varsity Boys Track Team amassed 148 points to win the Spoiler Last Chance on Monday, May 15. The meet featured four teams. Grafton was 2nd with 114 points, Pembina County North was 3rd with 68, and Midway/Minto scored 4th at 18 points.
