A 24 year old record beatThe DVE Titans had a pair of sophomores bring home some hardware from the ND State Track and Field Meet, which was held in Bismarck from May 23-May 25th.The weather was a challenge for everybody the first two days of the meet.

State track and field qualifiers

The DVE Titans will be sending six athletes to the North Dakota State High School Track and Field Meet in Bismarck. The three day event starts on Thursday, May 23 and the final events wrap up on Saturday, May 25. The Titans are represented by three boys and three girls.

The weather forced the cancellation of the RRVC meet early in the week, but nice weather allowed for some very quality performances later in the week. The Titans traveled to Cavalier for the Grizzly Invitational on May 9.

The Drayton-Valley-Edinburg Titans headed to Cavalier on Tuesday, April 23 to attend the Pembina County Outdoor (PCO) on a cold windy day. Thursday saw the Titans battle extremely high winds at the Langdon Invitational. The times have been converted from handheld to FAT Fully Automatic Timing.

The DVE Titans headed south on a very cold and windy Saturday, April 20 to attend the Don Kerlin Memorial Track and Field Meet in Mayville. The varsity girls placed fifth with 78.5 points and boys 7th with 42.66.
