Drayton trap team claims secondplace conference finish

By Valley News and Views Staff The Drayton Public School trap team wrapped up its season in the North Dakota State High School Clay Target League with a second-place finish in Class 1A, Conference 2.Several Drayton shooters also earned conference honors.

Drayton 10U hosts Park River, falls 20-6

The Drayton 10U baseball team hosted Park River on Thursday, June 4.Park River started the first inning by scoring two runs. Hudson McFarland did a good job throwing strikes and his defense backed him up, getting out of the first inning.

Titans prepare for the State Track and Field Meet

Titans attend Spoiler Last Chance & North East RegionalThe Titans are headed to the North Dakota State Track and Field Meet. The three-day event starts on Thursday, May 21 and concludes Saturday, May 23.

Red River Valley Conference Outdoor

The Drayton/Valley-Edinburg Titans boys captured the team title at the Larimore Meet on May 9, finishing first with 119 points, while the Titan girls placed third with 93.5 points.The DVE middle school boys also had a strong showing, taking fourth with71.5 points.

Bomber Speech Team heads to Mandan for State

Two members of the Drayton Bomber Speech team traveled to Mandan, N.D., on Friday and Saturday to compete in the NDHSAA Class B State Speech Tournament.Senior Stephanie Kissee competed in the category of Humorous Interpretation with her selection, I Don't Like Ham, by Jerry Rabushka.
