Spring turkey drawing held, licenses remainThe 2025 spring wild turkey lottery and more than 1,400 licenses remain in 10 units. Remaining licenses are issued on a first-come, first-served basis beginning Feb. 26 at 8 a.m. Central time.Hunters are allowed two licenses for the spring season.

Titans wrap up regular season at Warwick

The Titans Boys’ Basketball team closed out the 2024-2025 regular season with a road trip to Warwick to take on the Warriors in a non-conference game. Coach Jacob Larson said a goal for his team was to slow down Warwick’s high-powered offense.

D-V-E girls split first two games at district tourney

The Drayton-Valley-Edinburg (D-V-E) Titans split their first two games at the District 3 Girls’ Basketball Tournament in Rolla Feb. 7 and 8.The Titans opened up with a loss to Midway-Minto, 58-49, before coming back with a 59-51 win over North Star in the loser out round.

The Drayton-Valley-Edinburg Titans had a tough task, taking on the North Border Eagles on Monday, Feb. 10 in Drayton.The Titans entered the game with just five wins on the season, meanwhile the Eagles entered the game undefeated and ranked second in the state in North Dakota Class B.

The Titans’ boys’ basketball team fell behind early to the Polar Bears and struggled to come back all the way in a 53-40 loss at Larimore on Feb. 4.Hot shooting Larimore hit five three pointers in the first half and D-V-E found itself down by a score of 32-16 at the half.
