UFF-DA! Hopefully I spelled it right this time. After using the term for over a year in hopes of fitting in better around these parts, I realized I spelled it ‘OOF-DA’ at some point in my column. I’m sure that didn’t assist my ultimate goal of assimilating into the region.

Dear Editor, Why is Mesa, Arizona better or worse than Drayton? LOCATION! LOCATION! LOCATION! WEATHER! WEATHER! WEATHER! Why else would Mesa be known as “Drayton, South?” The people there are friendly and welcoming; of course most of them live in the Dakotas and Minnesota the rest of the year.
