The pitter patter of little feet, or maybe not.
On Sunday afternoon I joined my bride at the Halloween Carnival sponsored by the Drayton Booster Club and held in the school gym. The joint was full. Everywhere one looked there were beleaguered looking parents with cleverly costumed youngsters in tow.
I have no idea how many families were in attendance at the carnival, it would have been futile to try and count the number of children...
