Letter from the Publisher

This has been the calmest and warmest winter I’ve ever experienced living in North Dakota. I was raised here (Langdon) and only left for a handful of years following work opportunities in Wisconsin and Kansas.

I came back to North Dakota in 2003. When my car’s outside thermometer said 54 degrees at the end of January, I actually took a picture of it in disbelief.
