We moved into our new house in the neighborhood in 1959. Richie was there nearly from the beginning. He was a year younger than our brother Paul so they soon became friends.He often could be found sitting on our steps or hanging out in our back yard, to see what the Van Camp’s were up to.

Commission approves emergency funds for measles vaccination clinics

By Valley News and Views Staff At the Feb. 17 county commission meeting, Pembina County commissioners approved extra hours for Pembina County Public Health nurses as required for vaccination clinics throughout the county due to the measles outbreak.

Bomber’s speech team narrowly misses state q ualifi cation in P ark River

The Drayton Bomber Speech team traveled to Park River on Saturday for their annual tournament. It was the largest meet the team has attended this year, and each participant held their own against strong competition throughout the day.

Drayton FFA kicks off National FFA Week with Tractor Day

Drayton FFA members began National FFA Week (Feb. 21-28) with a special tradition—driving their tractors to school. Students arrived early to line up their equipment in the school parking area, creating an impressive display that highlighted the strong agricultural roots of the Drayton community.
