Walsh County businesses do better on Alcohol Compliance checks

Walsh County establishments that serve or sell alcohol are doing a better job of checking for IDs, at least recently.The Walsh County Sheriff’s Office conducted the latest round of compliance checks on March 25 at nine businesses in the County.

Murder charges filed in Cavalier County shooting

Murder charges have been filed in Cavalier County following a fatal shooting Thursday night in the community of Wales.According to the affidavit of probable cause, 33-year-old Russell Andrew Hiltner has been charged with murder, terrorizing and theft of property.
