I want to continue looking at Moses’ advice to Israel in Deuteronomy seven. Last time we saw some of the measures Christians must take if we are to successfully live for God. We must turn away from anything and everything that was part of our former life as a sinner. To hold on to any of the past life is to leave an opening for the old nature to regain a foot-hold in our lives.
