A Grand Forks mother who abandoned her 4-year-old daughter along I-29 last year will not be going to prison, but has been sentenced to time already served in jail.
In Northeast District Court on Wednesday, Feb. 28, Ashley Marie Johnson pled guilty to the class C felony charges of child neglect and reckless endangerment-extreme indifference.
