Aggies top Titans in Park River

The Park River-Fordville-Lankin Aggies boys’ basketball team saw a big second-quarter performance hold up in a 50-43 win over the Drayton-Valley-Edinburg Titans last Tuesday, Jan. 6.Behind six points by junior Mason Pollestad, the Titans managed an 11-11 tie after one quarter.

Titan girls fall to Aggies

Playing their second game in two nights, the Drayton-Valley-Edinburg Titans girls basketball team struggled in a 51-36 loss to Park River-Fordville-Lankin in Park River, Tuesday, Jan. 6.After defeating Cavalier the night before, the Titans got behind 8-2 early against the Aggies.

Drayton senior Alyssa Hoyles and her sister, sophomore Violet Hoyles each placed Third at the Bismarck Rotary Wrestling Tournament.Violet Hoyles, 124In the 124-pound weight class, Violet Hoyles faced Aubree Bunner of Stanley. Hoyles pinned Bunner at the 1:20 mark of the first period.

Hoyles sisters bring home silver and bronze at Rumble on the Red

Drayton Senior Alyssa Hoyles and her sister, sophomore Violet Hoyles, took second and third place, respectively, in their weight classes at the Rumble on the Red wrestling tournament held Jan. 2-3 in Fargo.The tournament featured thousands of wrestlers from North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota.

The Drayton-Valley-Edinburg Titans boys’ basketball team swept their games at a Jamboree held at United Tribes Technical College in Bismarck on Dec. 29th and 30th.D-V-E 60, Center-Stanton 27In the first game of the Jamboree, the Titans led from start to finish with a 60-27 win over Center-Stanton.
