Titans attend Red River Valley Conference Outdoor

Last week, the Titans traveled to Mayville to take part in the Red River Valley Conference Outdoor Invitational. It was the nicest day, weather wise, that the teams have experienced so far this season.

Varsity Titans Track teams compete at Larimore

On May 13, Freshman standout, Elizabeth Fedje, qualified for her third event in the State Track Meet with a personal best 1:01:57 in the 400 meter dash. Fedje won the 400 meter dash, the high jump (PR) 5’ 1”, and the 300H :48.48.

Titan Varsity Boys Track and Field win Spoiler Last Chance

The Titan Varsity Boys Track Team amassed 148 points to win the Spoiler Last Chance on Monday, May 15. The meet featured four teams. Grafton was 2nd with 114 points, Pembina County North was 3rd with 68, and Midway/Minto scored 4th at 18 points.

Grafton Spoiler Invitational

The junior high and varsity Titan track teams tore up the turf again at the Spoiler Invitational on May 2. Seventh grader Violet Hoyles ran well again, breaking the outdoor 1600 record by 12 seconds, running an impressive 6:14.16 and erasing the old record of 6:26.

Varsity Girls and Junior High Teams beat numerous personal records The DVE Varsity Boys won the Grizzly Invite Track Meet on Thursday, May 4. The Titans used a ton of team effort and numerous personal and season bests to come away with the team title.

OJ & Dee Jensen Kiwanis Invitational Track Meet

The DVE Titans headed south to Wahpeton on Monday, April 24 and participated in the OJ & Dee Jensen Kiwanis Invitational. With track teams all looking for a place to get outdoors, the meet featured a pair of Minnesota Class A teams, five North Dakota Class A teams, and 12 North Dakota Class B teams.

Following a week of blizzard weather and Easter break, the Titans tore up the track with the boys’ and girls’ teams breaking a combined seven team records. Thursday, April 13 saw the Titans travel to Belcourt and participate in the “Braves Indoor Invitational.

Titans Track and Field Teams back in action

Thursday, April 13 saw the Titans travel to Belcourt to compete in the Braves Indoor Invitational. The Titan Boys put up 79 points to win the meet. The Girls took 2nd in their division with 78 points behind Rolette/ Wolford with 95.
