Titans dampen Thunder in Drayton

The Drayton-Valley-Edinburg boys’ basketball team put a damper on Hatton-Northwood, topping the Thunder 61-32 in Drayton on Thursday, Feb. 12.Titans’ head coach Jacob Larson said defense was the key.“We came out strong and controlled the game from the start,” Larson.

Titans come back to beat Eagles

The Drayton-Valley-Edinburg boys’ basketball team picked up possibly their biggest win of the season on Tuesday, Feb. 10, in Pembina as they came from behind to beat second-place North Border 42-41.The game was a defensive battle throughout. The Eagles managed an 11-8 lead after one quarter.

Titans advance to Region 2 girls basketball tournament

The 2025-2026 season is still alive for the Drayton-Valley-Edinburg girls’ basketball teams.The Titans went 2-1 at the District 3 Tournament in Park River Feb.13-16 to advance to the Region 2 Girls’ Basketball Tournament to be held next week in Larimore.

After suffering a tough loss to Midway-Minto on Feb. 5, the Drayton-Valley- Edinburg came back to score a 4735 win over District 3 foe Larimore, Saturday, Feb. 7, in Drayton.In the defensive battle, points were at a premium for both teams.The game was tied, 10-10, after one quarter.
