Flora Marie Brown, 95, Drayton, ND, passed away in Grand Forks at Woodside Village Heartland Neighborhood, on Sunday, October 4, 2020, after having a stroke.

Flora and Jack lived on the farm southwest of Drayton that Flora grew up on. She loved life on the farm, helping with grain harvest and driving sugar beet truck for many years. She planted and cared for large gardens and all that goes with that harvest. She was known for her chokecherry jelly and plum/apple jelly at the fall church bazaar. Besides gardening Flora enjoyed curling, fishing, and golf. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, St. Andrews Homemakers Club, and had been a 4-H Leader and Cub Scout Leader.
Flora and Jack traveled many winters, eventually purchasing a home in Bullhead City, AZ, where they spent the winters of 1982-2010. In the summers they spent many weekends at their Cabin at Rocky Point on Lake of the Woods.
