There are years when the Christmas gathering expanded beyond the capacity of the little “A” frame house on Windom Street in Drayton. A couple of Great Aunts, Grandmother’s cousin, and a few cousins from the West Coast are added to the family mix. When this happens the family moves down to the south end of Windom Street. It is the house of Grandmother’s cousin, Mary Smith.
