I want to look at three words that describe what is necessary to become a true Christ-follower. The first word is “repent”. When asked what they should do to make their lives right with God, Peter told the assembled gathering they must “repent” (Acts 2:38; 3:19). Twice in Luke 13:1-5 Jesus spoke of the necessity of repenting – “except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish”.
