I’ve been hunting upland game birds and waterfowl ever since I was old enough to get a license.
Prior to that, since around age 8, I accompanied my dad and older brothers on many a hunt for pheasants and partridge.
When I moved to northern Minnesota to attend college back in the mid 1980s, I became a big fan of hunting ruffed grouse.
