My friend Kevin, an engineering associate, was legally blind. Some days I picked up Kevin to volunteer at the Society for the Blind in Sacramento. I helped him with electrical-mechanical and structural issues on their building. Saturdays were special as Kevin and I would go meet another friend, Ken, at a coffee shop.
