The Northeast North Dakota Breastfeeding Coalition will be meeting on Wednesday, January 15th at the Unity Medical Center Conference Room, Grafton from 11:30 am-12:45 pm. Health professionals, businesses and community members are welcome.

Windish named 2020 Weed Control Partner

BISMARCK – Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring has named Jamen Windish as the recipient of the 2020 Weed Control Partner Award. Windish was the 2019 president of the North Dakota Weed Control Association and has been a Barnes County weed officer for four years.

Student of the Week Larry is the kindergarten son of Sabrina and Joseph Ladouceur. He has two sisters Hailey who is 6 and Kaijun who is 8. He has three dogs named Rawley, Ruby, and Puddytang. He likes to eat everything up. He says he is really good at exercise and tae kwon do.

ND Dollars for Scholars accepting scholarship applications

Bismarck - North Dakota Dollars for Scholars is accepting scholarship applications from North Dakota high school seniors and current college students. A total of $85,000 in scholarships will be awarded, ranging from $500 to $2,500 each for the 2020-21 academic year.
