Fargo, ND —The March 22 deadline for Prairie Public’s PBS Kids Writers Contest is quickly approaching. Children in kindergarten through third grade are eligible to submit stories. Every child who enters the contest receives a certificate of achievement.

On Saturday, March 9, Bomber Speech attended their largest meet this season, The Grand Forks Classic. This Class A meet was hosted by Central and Red River High Schools with roughly 240 entries across all categories.

This week at Drayton Public School will be the first full week of track! They started last Wednesday. Track’s first meet will be at UND on March 16. With spring coming up comes a lot of springtime activities and sports! This year is the first year for a while that we have had a spring play.

The TobyMac Deep Hits Tour came to Grand Forks Alerus Center on the evening of Feb. 28. The TobyMac Tour bus had to travel through snow from Nashville to arrive in Grand Forks for the Wednesday night event. I had been fighting through a bad cold that week but I didn’t want to miss the show.
