It’s a busy time of year around here. Everyone is starting to get ready for the holidays, from going Christmas shopping to decorating houses with lights and trees. Even the teachers and paras have been decorating the school building. Christmastime is by far the best time of year, in my opinion.

Drayton Public School hosts reindeer games

After students at Drayton Public School had three virtual days due to the winter storm last week, they made up for lost time by playing reindeer games in the gym on Monday, Dec. 19. Lauri Logsdon shared several photos with Valley News and Views so we could all see how much fun they had!

Scams come home for the holidays

Holiday shopping, like most shopping these days, has moved online, and that poses unique risks, according to a new AARP survey. More than 75% of U.S. consumers reported that they have experienced some kind of fraud and a similar share of consumers failed a nine question safe shopping quiz.
