NDSU Extension The 25th Annual Dakota Feeder Calf Show and Feedout is set for Oct. 21 in Turtle Lake, North Dakota. Interested consignors will deliver 500to 700-pound steer calves before 10 a.m. CDT on the day of the show. Each producer can consign one or two pens containing three or four calves.

The farmers have been busy getting the crops off the fields. Beet farmers have gone through pre-haul already and are waiting for full haul to start. The weather, however, has not been cooperative for harvest to start on time again this year.
