Dear Editor, My left foot: part two. Compared to the situation Christy Brown, author of MY LEFT FOOT found himself in, my problems with mine are very,, very minor. Due to cerebral palsy, his left foot was the only body part he could control. It seems to be the body part over which I have no control.

We are what we eat, so they say. The stores are full of ready-to-go items and of course, all the rest can be confusing if you don’t know what to do with it. Learning how to cook is a life skill that every person should learn. I’ve been teaching my oldest kiddo.

An Eclectic Editor

I didn’t plan to start writing my column again for at least a few weeks or so, but luckily I’m able to type again. It’s slow, but it’s better than nothing! I can’t write with a pen and paper yet which is a bummer because I’m the ‘journaling type’ and boy, have I had a lot of thoughts to process.

Dear Editor, I am angry that Kelly Armstrong voted NO on HR 3967, the 'Honoring our PACT Act.' It would be a no-brainer for me to provide this type of support to our veterans . . . but for Kelly Armstrong, it was a step too far. This act expands VA healthcare benefits to 3.

Polish Cucumber Salad {Mizeria}

Ingredients 1 English cucumber (or 6-8 small pickling cucumbers) 1/4 tsp salt 2/3 cup sour cream 1 tbs of fresh dill Squeeze of a lemon Pinch of pepper Instructions Wash and peel the cucumber. Slice thin. Add salt and let sit for 10 minutes.
