My church had an outdoor service last weekend. The weather was beautiful, the kids were behaving, and I was able to relax, learn, and enjoy.

I usually wait until the last minute to write my column because I want my most up to date shenanigans to be available. So I’m sitting here at my computer Monday morning and every other muscle is sore but for the best reason.

Dear Editor, Honk! Honk! Toot! Toot! We aren’t very good at blowing out own horn—not to tell others to get out of our way, but to shine a light on our assets. (Our mothers told us not to brag.) Drayton has connections that other towns would gladly exploit.

Lately the theologian in me has been showing up more and more, I am coming to the conclusion that this is an age-related development. I have noticed over the years that as many of us age we spend more and more time thinking about our faith, or lack of the same in some cases.
