Dear Editor, As “the walker” I am by definition a pedestrian. As an adjective, being a pedestrian person isn’t necessarily a good thing—dull, boring, predictable. Not how I want to think of myself. Remember, “the pedestrian has the right of way.” Try telling that to a huge SVU bearing down on you—good luck with that one. Demanding your RIGHTS could get you killed.
