Drayton senior to represent North Dakota at national culinary competition

While many seniors are counting down the days until graduation, Jerimiah Johnson is preparing for something much bigger — representing North Dakota on a national culinary stage.

Johnson, 17, a senior at Drayton Public School, will travel to Orlando, Florida, to compete in the 2026 Cook Around the World culinary competition April 30 through May 3. He will be the only student representing not just hi…
