The Jewish people have been the subject of hatred, expulsion from one country after another, and attempted extermination for thousands of years. The Germans, with their concentration camps and gas chambers, brought about the death of six million Jewish men, women, and children.

Drayton Music Department to host annual holiday concerts

The Drayton Music Department is getting ready to “sleigh” the season with its annual holiday concerts. This year’s performances will take place on Monday, Dec. 1, for grades 5–12, and Monday, Dec. 8, for grades K–4. Both concerts begin at 6:30 p.m.

Walsh County Commission votes to keep dispatch local

At its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 4, the Walsh County Commission voted to keep its local dispatch department rather than having those services taken over by North Dakota State Radio in Bismarck, like Pembina County and other counties in the state have done recently.
