I am writing this as we approach the end of the 12 days of Christmas, which concludes Jan. 6. The Christmas spirit starts around Thanksgiving, and it all goes so fast. Looking back, it was all good.The season was highlighted by two Christmas Eve services and a Christmas Day dinner with family.

Members of the Pembina County 4-H Junior Leaders traded their usual winter routines for something a little different over Christmas break, stepping onto the ice at the Drayton Curling Club to learn the basics of one of the region’s oldest sports.
