Pembina County 4-H’ers Winners Indoor Archery Circuit

North Dakota 4-H Indoor Archery circuit recognized two Pembina County 4-H for their high point placings even though the season’s final state matches were cancelled. Emily Sharp, Cavalier, was the Archer of the Year. She also was the Senior Freestyle Champion with combined score of 596.

This time of spring is one of my favorites because of all the fresh fruit. We enjoyed some really good blackberries this weekend. This said I was thinking about shortcake, because if allergies we don’t use strawberries but there are many of fruits just as good.

The headlines have been grim. Seventeen bodies piled up in the morgue at a New Jersey nursing home. Fifty-five residents dead in Brooklyn, N.Y. In one week, 104 residents dead in a facility in western Pennsylvania and 102 dead at a home in San Antonio.

I for one am really hoping that spring is really here. It sure is slow in arriving. Here is a rhubarb recipe to try and a peanut butter brownie recipe. Rhubarb Crunch 3 cups rhubarb 1 cup sugar 3 tablespoons flour Mix together and place in a greased 9x13 cake pan.
