Impact Fast Pitch Softball Begins

With covid-19 wiping out spring high school softball in the region coaches in the area came up with a plan to allow the girls to see some softball action this season.

Blood Drive Held

The Drayton School hosted a blood drive for Vitalant on June 11, 2020. Preliminary results we received immediately after the drive indicated a very successful day! We had 50 people who signed up in advance to donate, and 48 donors were interviewed.

Calendar of Events

• City Council Meetings: Regular City Council Meetings will be held the SECOND MONDAY of the month at 7 p.m. at the City Office. • School Board Meetings: Regular School Board will be held the SECOND TUESDAY of the month at 6:30 a.m. in the Drayton Public School Library.

Fresh bread with rhubarb jam

This week I made a new recipe for bread, I know this will come as a shock to some but I made a little change to the recipe.

Mint is one of my favorite herbs to grow, not only because it smells so wonderful, but it has so many uses in summer cooking and refreshing beverages and it is very easy to grow.

Birth Announcement

Drew and Kelsey Scharmer of Minot, ND are proud to announce the birth of their son Gabriel LeeAlan Scharmer born on April 29, 2020 at 6:38 pm. Gabriel’s birth weight was 7lb 5oz and length was 19 inches. Gabriel’s paternal grandparents are Mark and Lori Scharmer of Mohall, ND.
